Hello! I am Lauri, a multidisciplinary artist based in a Glasgow, Scotland, UK. Entirely self taught with an evolving style, I love creating intuitive, reiki infused, abstract paintings with a heavy sprinkling of metallics in all of my artwork.

As far back as I can remember, I have always had a passion for painting. Then in 2013, I started to explore the many healing benefits of Reiki (“Universal Life Energy”), completing my Usui Reiki First Degree attunement. Following this attunement I started to explore how I could combine my passion for art with Reiki. Reiki is such a powerful force and adds an extra bit of magic and positivity to anything you combine it with, so I decided to try it on my art! Before I begin any of my pieces, I infuse the canvas with the Choku Rei “Power” symbol and send healing Reiki energy into the painting, filling it with specific intentions personalised to each piece of art. 

Inspired by nature, my work is characterised by layers and textures that bring movement and a certain depth and dimension to my art. I love to create bespoke commissions specific to my clients home decor style and colour palette. Between commissions, I escape to my studio and create ready to order art which can be ordered directly via my online shop here. All of my artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity.
